Random Thoughts (9)

The setting sun and the lonely swan fly together, and the autumn water shares the same color as the sky.

Posting a picture to prevent depression.

Yesterday, I read a post that resonated with me. It's difficult for locals in a city to understand the discomfort of having to rebuild social relationships every once in a while. From childhood to adulthood, every time I moved to a new place for school, there was always a period of hardship during the transition from being a stranger to becoming familiar with the surroundings. Many children who moved around with their parents for work can especially relate to this, which is why there are many people who dislike going to school. They don't understand why they have to constantly travel, and their parents don't understand why their children don't enjoy studying. This misunderstanding leads to family conflicts. Of course, what I'm saying is very one-sided, and this is just one of the reasons.

I just want to remind myself that the hardships of life not only make one physically and mentally exhausted, but also bring about spiritual poverty. It makes me understand that only those who constantly travel can experience this. Let me share my own experiences. Before the second grade of elementary school, I studied in my hometown. Then I transferred to schools in Xiamen for elementary, middle, and high school. After that, I returned to the county town for high school. I went to Zhengzhou for college, and after working, I came to Hangzhou.
Looking at this timeline, it's difficult to find a friend who has been with me since childhood. This is the case for most people, it's both sad and realistic.

After entering the workforce, I should be able to understand it better. Being alone in a unfamiliar city, besides work, it feels like there's nothing else to do. It's even more challenging for those with social anxiety. I consider myself relatively lucky because I have family and a significant other in a foreign city, which eases the anxiety. However, some people I know have been greatly affected emotionally, and some have even left the city due to excessive stress.

Writing a blog is not about selling anxiety, but rather, I feel that there are some things that need to be expressed. Venting emotions through words is also a good method. Let's slowly gather strength for tomorrow's life.
