On March 19, 2022, in Hangzhou, unfortunately, it was the first time I experienced a community lockdown due to an epidemic in recent years.
There was a close contact case in the community, and after consulting medical staff, it was possible that the person was suspected of being infected with the novel coronavirus. It happened quite suddenly, but it was also expected. A large-scale epidemic had already broken out in the Yuhang District recently, and the place where I am located is adjacent to the edge of the Yuhang District. It is hard to say why it spread, but I have been doing my best to take precautions.
I just moved here today with my partner and rented a house in this community. The house-hunting journey has been tough enough. After packing up at noon and preparing to take a rest, I received a notice in the afternoon that the community would be locked down soon. So I quickly went out to buy groceries and daily necessities, stocked up on supplies for a week, and it's enough for daily life without any major problems.
In the evening, following the community's arrangements, I took a nucleic acid test while there were fewer people and went downstairs to get some fresh air. I felt that life was still beautiful.
Although I felt frustrated, this is also a natural disaster, and all I can do is pray for this storm to end soon. I have also applied to work from home with the company, so it doesn't have much impact on my work.
In the evening, to relieve the frustration, I cooked two dishes with my girlfriend and passed the time.
One is spicy pig blood and the other is stir-fried lean meat with vegetables. They tasted better than I expected, but the flavor was a bit strong, so I drank a lot of water. I hope my cooking skills can improve and continue to progress!
Life is like this, you never know what will happen next, you can only adapt to the situation and live your own life, finding your own happiness!
